Executive Engineer Mohamad Elmi Sha Bin Mohamad Nasir and his colleagues at SP Group's Distribution Control Centre are part of the unit that oversees Singapore’s electricity grid round the clock.

Day and night, they keep the grid under constant surveillance through monitoring and analysis protocols, ensuring Singapore’s power network remains one of the world’s most reliable.

“Swift action, which requires knowledge and experience, is essential as every second lost would mean a delay in consumers getting their power supply back,” says Elmi.
